I traded my GT Liberty on a new SS :) The liberty has some nicer 'comforts' but Im loving the SS.
I was going to buy a VZ Clubby on a run out deal.. After driving the VE, there was no turning back to a VZ.. I even had a VZ GTO with 500Kms on it for a day last week and still liked the SS...
Well I will try and stick with the theme of the topic and post a few recent pics of mine.
Wide angle smiling photo ;)
Mates Black one I took last w/e on way to Phillip Island..
A really nice ute from last w/e too I had to throw this in
Loan Car I had when...
Are you talking about the SSV/Calais stereo with the screen in it? I assume you are.. Im going to upgrade the speakers and throw an amp in mine next year. The standard sound is pretty ordinary..
Yeah you would think im totally biased about the stripes but I actually don't like them on some colour variants on the VE's i.e red and black or blue and black.
Have done 6666kms in it so far lol, thats what was on the readout this morn.
If fuel consupmtion and costs are a huge concern for people they simply won't buy a V8. For me it's not an issue, and I have had similar consumption readings to SSV8pilot. In fact on a trip to heathcote the other week it was as low as 9.8!
Having 4 cylinders cut out of your V8 is like Having...
I reckon she is smiling in this pic :)
and this is the loan one I had when mine was getting some shite fixed at the dealers.. Exactly the same, but silver.
The black car in that Vid is a turbo VE SS. Hence why it ran an 11.6 ;)
The black SLYLS2 has just added chev grill and badges as well.. looks pretty good..
Yeah they go over the boot and spoiler actually. I have not got any pics of the inside yet..
There is an interior pic here but its the SSV. I don't have the leather.

Congrats on the new VE SS :) Good choice if I do say so myself!

I posted some other pics in the my rides area. I have to get off my lazy arse and get some more pics.!
I gotta say I just pulled in the driveway earlier after dropping around to my mates house and its just such a sweet machine to drive. The gearbox, engine and diff ratio are just purfect..and I can't get enough of the rev limiter its great how it now kicks in.
I dropped into Walkinshaw...
Yeah mate cheers ;) Yes all dealer options these days which I thought was pretty good for a change. The mods are all done through HSVi (whateva that means) and there is this an HSVi plaque thing under the bonnet.
Hey all.. Thought I would post a couple of pics of the new beast. I will have some better ones soon when i hook my digi cam up.
VE SS 6M, Lowered, 20" HSVi Rims, HSVi Steering Wheel/Gearknob. I'm really impressed with the VE so far :)
Well Ive read through all of the pages here.. I can't really make a lot of sense about the debate on petrol and which car gets better economy blah blah.. For me it is not a deciding factor.
Prior to buying the new SS I had a Subaru Liberty MY04 GT. It was a great car for the time I had it...
Hey all.. I guess it just boils down to personal opinion..
The first time I saw a VE with them I was undecided. But when I put them on mine It really grew on me and now I love it. :yeah:
