It was like that when I bought it. Have no idea really. Possibly damaged original and had no idea what to replace it with. Don't know. Nothing wrong with it so I've never changed it

Only thing I could pick that would make me think it had is the fact it has an executive rear bumber, but it was like that when I bought it. Apart from that, no. Car is one of the cleanest and most modified of it's model you'll find.

Worked out I put down 180rwkw from the times verses the weight of my car. Not bad for a tune that hasn't been touched since I've fitted the kit. Too poor to get it changed at the moment since it requires driving 2000km+ just to have it done.

Times were pretty average out the drags, but considering it was 36c I couldn't have hoped for much. Best time was 14.417 @ 93.85mph Reaction time of 0.142. Was incredibly hard working out how to run on slick. They worked best when you get the revs up to near on redline and go for it. The plus...

Had a little run with a wrx tonight. Wrx had front mount, exhaust and tune. Still happy to say that a 11psi commodore can eat a 14psi MY01 WRX.

Gasket replaced and car no longer sounds like a piece of poo. Pull's pretty hard for a v6. Will be interesting to get it out the drags on slicks in 2 weeks.

Car is back and new pulley and BOV are fitted. Pigeon noise is gone. Car feels alot quicker. Slicks Are now here and will find out if it's all worth it out the drags in 3 weeks. Only problem now is it's blown a exhaust manifold gasket.

K&N is a well known brand with proven performance in almost every motorsport around. As long as you go with a washable cotton gauze filter and don't get carried away with the oil after washing it then any will do fine for street applicattions. Not like your going to loose 40hp from having a K&N...

Race cars have different suspension set up to a street car. To get maximum traction in a "straight" line, standard height is best due to the weight transfer as I explained in my last post. Lowering isn't going to help yours launches is what I was getting at. If your going to lower your car but...

If you car has standard height springs you will get better traction due to the tyres sitting flat on the road surface as oppossed to lowered cars with too much negative camber. You also get more weight transfer at standard height and the suspension soaks up more allowing the tyres to stay...

Thought about it but I still like some wheel alignment. Otherwise traction would be even more of a problem than it already is. I have a camber kit, all nolathane bushes and 245 tyres just to try and improve grip. Working so far.

Going with the 14. Appears the car has a 12 psi one fitted atm. But due to pressure drop in the intercooler set up I only get 9-11psi depending on the weather.

Looking at the front I'd say it had the front bar replaced. Either due to an accident or to dress the car up for a sale. Save for forced induction. The guys at raptor know their stuff.

Pigeon noise is compressor surge from what all the guys in the know are telling me. Ordered a Kompact Turbosmart dual port BOV and a centrifugal spring to suit. Apparently once you intercool these setups you need to run two bosch valves because they run out of efficiency and don't relieve...
