get some gears man, 3.7 auto,3.9s or 4,1s for manual, makes huge difference. could leave standard gears and go for a real torque monster cam, not many have tried though, you would still see good results. ooooh just noticed maybe you havent had a mafless tune yet? deffinately give that a go...

yea try not to have mixed fluids in there, get another bottle and flush the whole lot from furthest to nearest,it'l be heaps better and you'l know there is fresh fluid in there for peace of mind

metho is normally ok, or you could just use a bit of petrol. same thing was wrong with my mates corolla couple of years ago, did the same as you, cleaned tank out,new filters and blew out the lines. solved his problem

yea mate sure is but it may be better to wait if your goin to put a new cam in or something cause thats where you'l get the best gains. but on a standard 5l there is quite a fair bit of power to be made from a tune even though you have the come chip.

man depends on how far you wana go power wise. all motors will respond well to head work though if you go and put heads that flow 550hp on a standard bottom end its not gunu be worth your while. you want to match everythin as best as you can. if you do say zorst,cam,tune i would sugest just a...

you have no probs with the thermo's they just need to be trimmed although if you havnt got them yet i do believe that au falcon ones are the way to go so try get them if it not too late. the basic idea of electric water pumps and running thermo's is to get some of the auxilary item off the motor...

greenfoams correct, there is no difference between all the calipers vn vp vr vs at all they all take the same pads and mount the same, just that the finned ones look different though not sure that all the lines are the same.... i am 100% certain that the lines are the same for vn in v6 v8 bt1...

yes thats true i have heard a few stories not sure if they are true, about the come memcals leaning out quite badly and pinging etc. mate you cant go past a custom tune no matter which way you look at it. but in return it is quite expensive.......... may the force be with you!

yes this is correct, go through all the gears from park to 1 hold each for 5 sec (when u in the car and foot on brake) then back up holding each for 3 sec. you can then check oil level in park or drive. normally an auto will be fine if it over full but if you have any probs you'l have to take...

i got mine wen they were 2 years old and there fine, no probs at all. i have pacies, a bit rusty but welds are good and no holes so you should be sweet with second hand

yea they definately dont need much porting either,they are quite a good head to start with. a little goes quite a long way with them.

decent head work will cost you well in excess of 1500 bux depending on wat you get done of cause, but id say 1500 would get you a good port job and shave a bit off for higher comp. etc.

airstrike, did you find much benifit from installing the roller rockers? was it easy to do?
