    Rear VE Calais lights

I could well be wrong but I didnt think they did........only because I was stewing over the idea of changing bodywork, as in applying SV6 bumpers to the calais, front and rear and I thought the panel seams differed.....I wanted to leep the calais rear lights on the SV6 rear but the bodywork...

    VE faults?

Hey Cousin, This may help. I had the same prob where trying to put the window up it would decide to go down again by itself. Took it to the dealer and got it fixed. Evidently the electric window mechanism inside the door had 'come loose' or got out of kilter marginally and this was the...

    VE Bodykits

Anybody got some info on aftermarket bodykits? I am thinking of putting a kit on the Calais however.......... GMH has made it difficult in that a genuine rear bodykit for say an SS or Sv6 does not allow you to retain the Calais tail lights which I like as a point of difference over the normal...

Hey guys, anyone got some info to share.........looking for costing to have the satnav fitted to the Calais centre console. I have been quoted $2600 plus fitting by the dealer workshop, ( seems steep) I was also told that they're almost impossible to get. Supposedly Holden just cant get...

VE fuel readouts are pretty 'spot-on'

Would have liked a bit better mileage though........have to drive like a 'cardigan driver' to get better though around town................. Also the 'low fuel' warning comes on with 10L to go and definitely down in the 'red' so that is a plus compared to previous dramas with the VZ.

VE fuel readouts are pretty 'spot-on'

ran the tank down to empty this morning just to see how many k's I could squeeze around town. Read-out registered 556k's at an ave of 12.1L per 100k. The fuel tank readout registered 67.1l used out of 73litres The fuel pump at the servo took 68.5l to fill it back up again..........:whistling...

Fuel Economy Per Tank Of Fuel

Ve Calais V6, 73lt tank Im only squeezing about 540ks out of a full tank travelling to and from work (90k zones) and around town......no expressway running. The gauge estimates an average of around 12.4-12.6l per 100k. Bit disappointing as my VZ SV6 could be squeezed to 600k but.......I did...

    boot/spoiler size

naf, The spoiler I had fitted is placed so that the support leg sits at the extreme edge, just before the boot curves down......(you dont the leg hanging over).. I should think you could mount it forward from that point without any problem as long as you have no problem with the underlip of...

    boot/spoiler size

As the boot tapers back to the rearmost leading edge it measures 1.165m at that point but........the base of the spoiler is shaped to the taper so its measurement at its widest point is 1.190m.....by the way, thats an SV6 spoiler, I dont know if the SS are different at the base. ....the point...
