had same problem with sisters ve ...was a faulty brand new tridon cap...genuine one fixed it

thanks for all the sugestions. in the end i got abgenuine holden cap for it and its been perfect. for some reason the tridon cap was causeing it to overnheat...both on guage and the didgital readout was jumping between 99c and 112c while driveing at 100kph now its between 87c and 95c and fans...

think found problem. put old radiator cap on.......now perfect only thing is after a long drive the radiator hoses are not pressureised and i can remove cap straight away...is that normal? as with my vs commodore the hoses are normally rock hard and i cannot remove cap unless cooled this was...

did spluttler a little but now just turn right corner hard and it dies and comes to a stop. i had the wireing problem at dfi a while back and it butnt wireing so replaced wireing loom and coil pack and dfi. does seem the same symptoms though.

ok so last week had a problem witch turned out to be inside of fuel filter comming apart reatricting fuel flow and possible burning out injectors. any was replaced injectors with some vt ones i had and new filter. Now car stalls when turning right. weired thing is if it was very low on...

update changed injector to some vt ones and now cars going fine..... so conclusion was... fuel filter failed internally which sent alll **** through to injectors....funnie thing is injector filters are clean?? unless injectors burnt out internally?

ok weired how the gregories says just to clean bolts up snd reuse but replace the rocker arm ones haha so are the rocker arm ones a 8.8 grade bolt or 12.9? as id like to get reuseablr ones. csn i use 8.8 grade??

thats what i thorght butbthe gregorys manual ( just found it) says to cleannhead bolts and reuse with some locktight. but dont reuse the rocker bolts......
