Hi guys Help needed urgently. The antenna won't go up fully or go down fully. My main worry is the "kut kut kut" sound when it's on either end. It's like the motor is trying to push it up and wind it down but something's stopping it. Worried I might blow the antenna motor. All suggestions...

    Wheel Bearings???

The squeaking noise could be best described as a bird chirping noise which got louder with acceleration. It was constant at any speed but really picked up when I accelerated. The belt cost me $38. And the noise stopped instantly!!

    Wheel Bearings???

I hear this constant grinding noise from the front wheels, more on the left. I can even feel a bit of a vibration as if I'm driving on a very fine ripple strip. Took it to the mechanics and they reckon it's the wheel bearings. I've learnt NOT to trust them too much as recently, I was hearing...

    Fuel Filter

I followed andyman's instructions in an earlier thread and did remove the fuel pump fuse, ran the engine till it died and then removed the pump and it still sprayed some. Imagine if I didn't do that?!!!!!

    Fuel Filter

Hi all I replaced the fuel filter. Taking out the old one was a bit fiddly, had to pop out the plastic tabs on both sides of the hoses with a small screw driver. But, putting in the new ones was a lot easier, the hoses just went in with a little click. It felt a little too easy and am concerned...

Hi all My radiator sprung a leak a couple months back and I treated it with a thing called 'Sealup' which stopped the leak and now it's stared to leak again. Checked at a radiator place and he wanted $360 for a new radiator fitted. Now, does the price seem fair? or, is that something I...

Yes, I finally finished my first major project he he he I picked one up from 'star dismantlers' at Smithfield for $40!!! They removed it from a VY that had done just 45K. Virtually brand new actuator. But, I could never figure out how the blue plastic cover inside the door fitted back on. So...

    Door actuator

Hi all My front passenger door actuator has died (been dead for sometime) and they've quoted $300 to fix it. Will I save any money if I did it myself or is it not worth the hassle? If I'm to change it myself, how much will it cost for the unit and how hard is it to remove the door trim?

Hi all My radiator has a small leak and I bought one of those stop leaks. But, the label says to drain out all the existing coolant and fill in new one with the stop leak liquid. Should I bleed the system after filling in the new one? if so, how do I do that? Suggestions appreciated. Thanks

    First Time with a Condom

I recall my first time with a condom, I was 16 or so. I went in to buy a package of condoms. There was a beautiful woman behind the counter, and she could see that I was new at it. She handed me the package and asked, if I knew how to wear one. I honestly answered, "No." So she unwrapped...

I'm not very knowldgeable mechanically. I have to go by what the mechanic said. He said he'll do it for around $350 when I rang him a little bit earlier.
  37. J

    Wheel Bearings

Yeah, that was what the mechanic said. I had the brakes done a couple of months ago, but there was a constant scruffing noise and when I took it back to him, he said I need new bearings on the left side.
