Apparently VX II and VY have four digit error codes (see this thread http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/vt-vx-holden-commodore-1997-2002/43612-vx-fault-codes.html) If can't find a list to see if there is any difference between VT/VX to VXII/VY error codes so should I assume they are the same?

What is the difference between the heads on a Blue 253 compared to a 308? My mates in the middle of rebuilding a 308 but he has been told the heads a stuffed. I have a pair still on a destroyed 253 (the heads had been done for gas 2000km ago) Is it worth pulling them off to fit on to his 308?
