I have a Sportwagon as well and have had the same thing happen to my wiper too. I usually corrects its self on the next cycle. Can't remember exactly how I fix it. Think its either a quick flick forward and off before the end of the cycle or something similar.

Have no problem towing with my sportwagon with standard suspension. Usually tow a heavy homemade 6x4 trailer. Tows the same, with or without a load in it. Only difference is in the braking distances.

Try these guy. A Class Metal Have not tried them, but they were the only ones I could find that would do the chroming they I need. I just no longer needed to get the part done.

I made up a couple of plastic washer at work from some 5 flat plastic. An ID of 12mm is required to slide the washer down the threaded rod and OD should be around the 20mm mark. I fitted them last night and they have fix the problem. There is no more movement back and forth.

I have the same problem with my Senator. Never found a solution on here. So I never bothered to remove the seat.

How much and what condition are the side skirts in ? Hopefully they are all complete and no cracks ? Are they genuine HSV ?

Those covers have been selling for between $100 - $180. $300 is probably a bit high.

I'll take the driver's side one to help out, Not_An_Abba_Fan. I assume you don't have the chrome grille insert from the front bar ? Seriously, I wish all you non HSV owners would stop stealing all our spare parts. There's not a lot to go around and NOS parts are limited too.

I believe they are worth around $55-$70 new from Holden. Depending on how long it been like that, the seat upholstery may need fixing as well to look half decent.

Ok, was a simply fix. Both brake lights had blown. Glad the spoiler LED's were still working. The cruise control and traction control are both working again.

Yeah I know this a very old thread , but this is the only one with the exact same problem as I am having. I have swapped cc modules and indicator stalks, but no change. Will check the brake lights and brake switch later today.

That is exactly what I did. I used my bros VS dfi module to test if it was the problem. I had no spark on 2 and 5. Tried changing just the coil pack first, but no difference. $65 for the whole dfi and coil packs seems the cheapest option from a wrecker. This on my old VT V6, that I just want gone.
