Hi Daniel, i saw your post regarding fitting a trailer brake controller, you say there are two wires near the battery with the factory wiring for the towbar. I am about to purchase a redarc tow pro elite to fit, just wondering did you fit one and use the wires you described near the battery?

Yes rear one pulls down from the front of the assembly, just get your nails under the edge that faces the front of the car and pull downwards. Then just twist out the globe holder.

I just put a pair of Hurricane sports rear mufflers on the V8 Caprice and now get a nice deep note without being overly loud. Very pleased.

You don't have to remove the kick panel to install a piggy back fuse, just slide back the fuse cover.

Wired them to the footwell lights, so yes they turn off once the doors are closed, they are not as glary in real life, the phone camera has made them look this way.

yes get a small screwdriver covered in a soft rag so you don't scratch the paint and it should just unclip

Ok time for an update, the badge off the WH caprice as pictured above won't fit a WM as the shaft that goes through the bonnet isn't long enough. The only one available is the dreaded Chev Bonnet badge which has a much longer shaft as seen here...

On what vehicle? if its a ve it clips in and out.
