a small lack in compression wont matter too much once those turbos spool up, unless we,re talking lots of lack in compression.

202 isnt a bad motor lets not forget how great they were in the GTR XU1's with the tripple carbs, still a popular and modest motor cheap to maintain, the RB motor great in it's own respect, was a knee jerk reaction for fuel ecconomy and efficiency, which was great for holden and pulled off well...

thanks for the imput guys. I recieved bad news this week. i had a supra box lined up to buy the guy said he'd hold it for me. then when i rang to organise pick up he had sold it to someone else! So now i could be putting a Ford single rail in instead :P

I had a 250 cfm webber on my blue 202 with headers and a mild cam. yeah it was a bit tired and yes it liked to drink (still got 500km to the tank if baby footed around) but it used to fly for what it was.

do ya have any trouble putting the windows all the way down, on the front with those speakers being there? very neat :thumbsup: my VH had a blue 3.3 in it and with a nice cam and extractors she sounded tuff. but as julianvk said dont go over board with it

yeah they re the old style heads im worried bout the valve hitting the top of the block since the bore siZe is different. the red heads are off a HZ the black heads are out of a HDT VL and I got another set of red heads out of a LX

G day all, building up a 253 V8 for my VH Brock ADP 1 project and got a few questions. 1: does all the ports on a 4 barrell manifold of a VL's black motor fit a red 253? 2: if red heads dont match up, will the black heads of the 4.9L fit the 253? (talking about the valve size difference)

G'day I got a remote central locking kit for my VH a while back, and havent got around to fitting it yet. Ive worked out where i'll put the motors in the front doors but not the back. where would the best place in the back doors be?

thanks for the input, the intire car is a mix of colours, the fender isnt damaged which is good as they aint cheap. hopfully the bonnet can just be bent into shape, I did some research on rare spares and indicators are $25 and headlight assembly is $80 somthing, or i could get just the lense for $35
