haha yeh the 6500 was a bit of an overstatement, it was on the limiter i should have said. I have checked the fluid when it is at normal temp and it is perfect, sitting on the hot. But when i checked it when i believe it was boiling, was half way up the stick and was frothing.

Hi there. I just replaced all the spark plugs on my vz and after that, it now misses every so often on idle. It will miss once or twice every minute or so, it isn't constant. It used to miss under heavy acceleration which is why i installed the plugs, its now perfect on acceleration but just...

apparently its a pretty big job to do the thermostat, either have to drop out the gearbox or take the inlet manifold off as the housing is at the back of the engine. But give a radiator cap a go to start with it was only 13 bucks. Not sure how to bleed the system sorry

ok well i dont think that is the problem, because i put the car into diagnostic mode or whatever and it happened this morning it said my coolant was at 119 degrees so if it was the radiator cap it wouldnt be able to get that hot if it wasnt pressurised and i got out and my top hose was hotter...

I just cant seem to get the metal sleeve out of the ond of the front control arms!! im putting in some urethane bushes. Ive tried everything, punching it out with a chisel, smacking it out with a hammer, various methods tried with a vice. i just cant get it!!! anyone know how to do this??
