hey got a problem with the headlights not turning off when u open the door after u switch off the car on a vr clubsport. Any idea's?

Thats the same spot i had to fix the seam. Maybe use an old bottle brush to clean out that hole.

I've got the s2 vn, the only thing wrong with it is that its got burnt out valve's. I was just gonna change the heads but want to know if its worth changing the whole engine. If it make jack s*%t difference then i'll just do the heads.

Hey just wanted to know who on here has done this coversion and has it made a difference. I got offered a vr motor and just trying to deside weather or not to do it.

The S2/VR has a better intake manifold, another inch runner length and generally justa little better Is it different to the vp manifold?

So having a better casting do they flow better? And the roller shafted rockers, arnt the on s2 vn-vp?

Just fixed the same problem on my brothers vn. Where the bonnet hinge is in that area it was leaking from the seam. Its hard to explain without uploading a pic but anyway just got a tube of seam sealer and fixed it up.

take off the wiper arms, then take off the plastic tray thing and underneath that is a square cage looking thing. that is the fan speed controler. Best to go down to pick-a-part and get 1.

try change the dfi module, it gives the same code for the crank angle sensor from what i can remember. Done it on a statesman i had and on my mates vs. Just grab 1 from steel-a-part

so the old engine is a hsv engine and has the knock sensor? does the new motor have the knock sensor?
