OH yes you did,you refered to s2 lights, and since you have established your mistake,i'll not refer to the contridictions in your first statement.

No sir,you seem to have no idea what your on about. You obviously don't know how to use terminology relating to your applications properly,or know your car as well as I assumed you did. Not to worry, judging from your reply,it's clear you have no common sense or dare I say it.....Brains. Yes...

    Your thoughts?

It would be an awsome paddok basher, however If you were seen driving on a public road, one could not be held responsible for the consequences.

Well thank you my good man,but that loom is already in place. All he needs to do is purchase a calais/berlina garnish and harnesses to suit. That's only if he's going for the calais/berlina look,if not the other s2 tail lights should need no modification as the job they do is identical.

    Charg'd's VT XU6

What are you on about? Series 1&2 have the stop/tail and indicator assembly set up in an identical fashion. The only difference oviously being the colour of the indicator lens. I fail to understand what you are trying to imply!.

    Turbo/Supercharged 6 or V8

Should have saved face and not bothered saying that, but you said it. I guess we should all just throw up the white flag now.

    Different Level BCM's.

It's got nothing to do with the BCM,get over the BCM. Wire the internals up correctly and there will be a conclusion. Why pull your car apart if there is no need to.

The day is fast approaching, seatbelts please.

    Different Level BCM's.

One thing you must be aware of is,if you ever want something installed on your car that is of a higher spec than yours class wise(yours is more focused on performance)than you can expect to be up for modification in some respect. This will not be the case in all situations, but most. Really I...

    Different Level BCM's.

I've been dealt a savage blow,it will be hard to recover from that one. It's simply not wired up correctly, although I would'nt like to dismantle my car so you could follow up on your misgivings.

    BB/Airsoft Gun

That's maximum, and all depends on the circumstances. As much as we would all like a BB gun in the closet for those ''christ I'm bored'' day's,it's worth remembering that the law won't differenciate between a BB or a 44mag.

    Different Level BCM's.

The light will work fine BCM or no BCM,it's all about voltage, high voltage to be precice. Once you have worked out the method of wiring, the light will operate as it was designed to operate. And what is this rep nonsence all about?
  18. C

    Different Level BCM's.

Before I dig my hole deeper let me say this......No new BCM is reqired,if you must wire the light in,it can be done. Where theres a will, theres a way! Now listen to what I say.
  19. C

    Different Level BCM's.

There are many ways of determining which BCM it has,but i am at a loss as to why you can't get that information via other means. Do you have a service manual relevant to your car? I am aware you have internet access, need i go on?

    Different Level BCM's.

At no point did I say you were dumb, that's just a bit of insecurity. To answer your question;I did give advice, you just chose to disregard it. And to your main dilemma; No a new BCM is not required.
  21. C

    Different Level BCM's.

You are right, thats exactly how I learn't which is why I don't give advice I think might be detrimental to the wiring,no matter how trivial.
  22. C

    Different Level BCM's.

Because you seem to be in a trial and error situation,it is easy to make basic mistakes(or expensive ones)so if the only advice your getting is heresay, then take my forementioned advice. And don't take it to a mechanic, the correct field your looking for focusing solely on vehicle electronics is...

    Different Level BCM's.

No you don't have to change the BCM,If you are unsure as to which path to take..I suggest you take it to a professional before you start blowing fuses(if you hav'nt already)and start frying the electrical system. Some things are best left to the experts.

By S2 light's,this obviously means your Series 2 tail light's......Correct? Well what is different in relation to the wiring setup......Again,it should be identical. It's a straight swap.
