mate everytime i see one of these questions everyone always says "oh you'll get busted in no time" or "the glare will blind everyone" . Have been running hids in my VT for over 2 years now and never had a single hassle or driver flash me for glare and i run with the lights on always.

they are different at the back of the skirt, but if someone didn't tell you you probably wouldn't notice.

you need to get a small ball pein hammer and widen the original opening towards the back of the dash. you will find that even without the cage the unit will not go all the way back. the opening is slightly tapered. the cage will eventually fit then i drill 2 small holes, 1 each side of the cage...

i believe the vg 3.8lt used a turbo rotary type compressor similar to a vl. tr070 sounds familiar. the skyline would use a normal piston type i believe. i have seen both styles of compressor used on both styles of system with no issues either way.
