So my VU is sitting in the work car park and I hope to drive it home at 3:30 but it won't start. When turning the key the accessories turn on and the fuel pump comes on but the engine won't turn over at all. Any ideas on where I should start looking? Cheers

Hi all, I'm a mechanic by no means, but while trying to diagnose why my car is over heating i checked the fault codes to see if it gave any clue and the fault code that came up was 13, which is the Oxygen Sensor. Should I be concerned? Will this contribute to my overheating? Cheers

yeh my calais turns em off for me. you buy kits from autobarn, supercheap etc that have a buzzer or an led that come on when your lights are on and your ignition is off. Only about 10-15 bucks i think, was gonna get one for my vk

Update: took off the velours and put some clear side indicators on. Will be dumping it in the next month or so then she'll be lookin sweet.

Finished putting them in last week.. I'm pretty happy with the result. Despite the difference in colours it doesnt actually look that bad 'in person' same colour as the carpet at the top of the door and my seat covers so yeh.

Personally id prefer a v6 vp than a v8 anyway but yeh I know what you mean lol

The standard is 2.4 i think. I'm pretty sure you can get them in 5.8 but theyre heaps more expensive. I had issues with my wifi network and av transmitter too but i played with which channel each of them used and eventually got them both working together. Could be something for you to look at?

Hi all, The rear power windows in my VP have stopped working, I'm pretty sure it started happening when I pulled out my centre console etc out to replace the cd player. At first it was only the rear passenger side window and now its both. Front windows still work fine tho.. I tried...

or get a multimeter and see if theres power to the back of the headunit and the fuse holder. basically see if u can find out how far the power gets

Also remember to check the fuse on the cd player itself. it sounds like that may hvae blown. good luck

could be an idea to look at a FM transmitter. you can get ones that plug into a usb port and broadcasts your computers sound to a radio station
