youll be right, just rev the tits off it if your are going to rebuild anyways. they have great bottom ends so i dont think it will be to much of an issue.
Have your driven a car with stall and gears? One thats properly tuned? Mine was great on the street, great manners, bearly knew the stall was there. Could drive it around all day with out an issue. Im sure this blokes car was much the same.

Cammed and stalled LS2's have been running low 11's all day for years? a bloke on ls1 forum ran low 11's with a big stall and stock cam. So 11.7 with "350rwkw" isnt all that impressive? But most people on this forum dont really know any better then just dyno figures now do they?

Properly set up they are. Hell even with a tune they break traction with ease. Dont think it has anything with "knowing how to drive" I just dont see how the comment was constructive in any way.

I had the same issues, maybe look at getting some fatter tyres under there mate. Anything over half throttle brakes traction in these things. great motor the LS2
I didnt mean BORROW the 30 k from the home loan, i was saying instead of using savings, tip your savings into the house and borrow the money for the car. People borrowing from the home loan are CRAZY! lol

Id stay away from personal loans. You pay far to much intrest in comparison to what you can achieve with a secured loan.
nah mate, only 6-7 months. Its actually a great car, but im going down a different path with work and this one will have to go. I think its priced well for what it is.

Thanks guys. Still needs a bit of work to get it where id like it, but we will see how it goes. The thing gets driven maybe once a week so spending big on it isnt really a smart move lol.

Yeh i love it. I had a tiga mica VT SS before this. looks very similar. You dont see many of these around which is good. Actually I dont think ive ever seen another one.
The point is, if the tuner cant do a MAFless tune without there being "Low speed (slow driving), off idle (accelerating from idle), and low throttle" issues, take the car somewhere else. I PERSONALLY have never had an issue with mafless.
I dont see how going mafless will affect low speed idle? both my cars have bee tuned mafless and i have never had an issue. hell my cammed ls2 idles fine. there should be no issue with a stock car.
for 550 you would be getting just a basic non dyno tune id imagine. Which shop is it? Maybe get it down to someone who deals mainly with LSx Motors. The maf and mafless thing is much of a muchness id imagine. I dont see why you wouldnt just go mafless?
