I have a 2007 ex-police omega and crawled under it today. It does have a LSD according to the sticker and you can feel it when driving too.

try Armor All protectant (http://www.armorall.com/products/interior/protectants.php) you can buy it from any car store or coles or petrol station. be generous with it

holden's traction control is as good as someone in the passenger seat pulling on the handbrake. execs have traction control but no button but it is very easy to do skids still

you have to switch them to auto for them to come on when you unarm the car, and it has to be dark. standard feature on every vz. i dunno what that $150 would be for... if your switch is set to auto and they still dont do it make sure it is enabled in the settings you can access when you start...

dude $80k doesnt come around very often. you will lose $25k in 2 years if you buy a new car, or if you invest it you could make $25k in 2 years. thats a $50k difference in your financial wellbeing, but its your decision. perhaps a new car could wait until you're a bit older?

well i cant find figures for the calais but an auto sv6 does 0-100km in 7.2secs and the fastest mazda3 is the 2.3L 4cyl SP23 which does it in 8.5secs. the calais will be slower than the sv6 but if those figures are accurate you should beat it right? put your foot down harder next time.

here in adelaide about half our taxis are commodores i would guess, the vast majority being ex-police cars it seems (silver instead of black rims). most would be VYs although there are still a few VXs and VTs. a few VZs are going round. i saw a VE taxi the other day...what a waste...

if holden want to take over toyota they will have to rely on more than commodore fleet sales. toyota probably have the top spot because in addition to large and small cars they also have a huge share in the 4wd market and also the people mover market.

i am pretty sure you have an executive with traction control and acclaim alloys. so i doubt it has esp. there is probably a way to know for sure but i dont know what that is. i will try to find out

i know for sure that VTs are grey but dont know about VXs sorry. VYs and VZ are both definitely black. a VY weathershield will fit a VZ. you can tell the doors havent changed one bit
