    they're pretty expensive for a v6 modification... as morton said they are only really worth getting on an 8... they do make the system sound a bit better, but as far as performance goes i havent really found much power gain from them..

    yeha i'd get the heli coil if u want a cheaper way out, alot cheaper than buying the entire manifold, im sure your dads mate will help you out either way.. a tiny bit of coolant mixed in with your oil in your valley wont be to harmfull... i ran a blown head gasket with coolant mixed totally in...

    if it still runs like a fart in a bottle check your injectors for breakage or blockages..my car after recently replacing my head gaskets was running like a pooer..trned out 3 of my injectors were clogged with crap..cleaned them up and the fuel lines and car runs better then it did before :)

    finally replaced my head gaskets..was real excited and was up to tightening the plenum chamber bolts, mate drops a bolt down one of the holes...i was errrr! finally got it out, and after me lecturing him about being an idiot, i decided to drop a socket down there too..well done me! 1 hour later...

If your not completely mechanical illiterate you can do the manifold gaskets your self...wrth spending the 40 bucks and getting a gregorys manual if your not sure..will save hundreds in mechanics fee's and it is relatively easy to do...

    hmm..nah i only ran about half of what was recomended for a tank...but on closer inspection of my oil today noticed it was a poo brown as in "blown head gasket" poo colour... great, back to pulling apart that ecotech again lol

    error codes gath nothing either (as usual) lol... i'm about to cry, im a poor student and cant afford the "fun" of an old commodore any more...is it possible the O2 sensors or maybe the crank angle sensor could be causing these issues??

    lol funny you should say that..atm my VS is running like crap with the same symptoms..spark plugs/leads all good and checked..swapped over coil pack no difference..changed fuel filter, check vacum hoses and even chucked in 2 new inlet manifold gaskets...started her up and still runs like crap...

    i got the same problem with my vs atm.. i know my fuel pump's on it's way out and i need to replace that and the filter so not sure if that has somehting to do with it...i replaced the leads and plugs about the same time ago as you aswell, so im ruling that out.

    yeah, i got a vs v6 and its had the same problem since i brought it.. is the steerring seem a little harder then normal? if so steering rack is probably pooped ..wouldn't say its the fluid..cos mines all fine and yeah i changed it too..
