yer a bit before full lock its not too bad , but the tyres will not be legal cause of the outside diametre being too large and it looks kinda weird with big tyres on em too

hey mate i just bought the same rims for my vu with the standard ve tyres still on them 245/40, the tyres will be to big but they do fit.there is about a mm gap between tyre and strut on the front and i cant turn at full lock without it rubbing on the guard, the rear is fine, ive got ssl springs...

does anyone know where to get a trim surround from and if they do make them for vt/vx? i can only find ones to suit vy/vz

might be a good idea to replace the clutch while ur doin it, i just converted mine and picked up an excedy clutch kit with a solid flywheel for $700. all up parts came to about $2200

it'd probable be easiest to buy the guards with the vz flutes in them. i just got some today (aftermarket, not genuine but they fit real well) to suit the vt, vx front end $220 each with the flutes in them

u roll up the lip on the inside , looks like any other gaurd from the outside.

just wondering who do make extractors that bolt strait on to the v6, and where bouts do they bolt on? do they come with a y peice and new cat?

i didnt think of that.. so all i need to do is wire up the reverse light swith and speed sensor and just plug the manual computer into the auto wiring harness?

hey mate good to hear you've got it finished,how hard was it to do the wiring loom? ive got mine running on the auto computer still,an Holden are the only ones who can link the manual computer to my bcm but they dont wanna touch the wiring!

what have you guys done about the auto tranny cooler,i have just done the conversion and i cant seem to find where the cooler lines go to and they keep leaking fluid every where. it looks like they go into the radiator but there is no cooler on the front??

wat is the reason for both 12mm and 25mm insulators? i ordered 1.9:1 rockers the other day and was lookin at the manifold insulator and spacer. Its for a vu and im not planing on any forced induction, wat would be more suited for my car? Also will i need a tune and can anyone tune the vu v6s?
