Liquid nails is much stronger than super glue, try that next if the super glue fails. I use liquid nails for countless odd jobs and it never lets me down. I even used it to glue down new carpet over old carpet on an office I renovated, turned out great and saved a full week of hard work and $$$.

As with most air conditioning, it freezes up less if the fan speed (airflow) is kept high as the warm air running through the system helps a little to not let ice form in the first place.

Make sure someone hasn't manually adjusted the fan which would take it out of full auto mode. Make sure auto is lit up!

My Calais goes through two of these a year, when it was under warranty the local dealer always replaced it if I asked. As hard as I tried and being large build I would always end up breaking it at some point then it would site there broken for 3 months or so waiting for the next Holden visit...
