will the knock sensor off a VN V6 (buick) fit a VL?

i think its about 2 to 3 inchs, way to short. its only the front half that is shorter.

commodore stud patten is 120 pcd whereis older holdens are 120.1 pcd thats if it is a 5 stud.

i think that the rear link pins have smaller bushs then the front. but cant be sure unless u have them side by side

i reckon it would torque steer like a B***H in the buick's since it has good torque down low

i think thats the only way to get the sump off by lifting the motor. other then that its stright forward job

i tryed to start it last friday arvo, but it wouldnt so i got racq to jump start it and it turned over once and went bang bang and stopped cold, stuipdly i thought it was tha starter, so i changed tha starter and tryewd again, racq came out again to try and jump start it but it would fire, so...

yeah ditch them and get a set of L67 injectors which r 36 pound

if ya know what u r doin, u could do it ur self. i think a mini spool is about $100

it is driven stright off the end of the crank, it is in the alloy plate behind the balancer. and i think u might have fractured the oil pick up and it has broken off. i have seen it before.

u will need a vl loom and ecu, plus tha airflow meter

it is basicaly the same car, so it should fit

the k frame will bolt in, one of my mates put a vn v6 in to a vl wagon and it dropped stright in, there sould be enough room in the engine bay caz i have seen a vr with and rb30t in it.

a mini spool would be fine, i got one and they r great.

tha balance shaft has to be ther unless u have had the motor fully balanced. i have seen a v6 that has throw a rod because it didnt have a balane shaft.

does it make it when the car is hot

does it lose oil pressure if it does its a big end, but i think it would be a cam bearing they r common if u flog ur car

thatz from a toyota 3L deasil, it would take a lot of water to dothat to petrol motor but only a little bit in a deasil

u will need to get a set of coil overs to get the 20's to fit proplerly. wheel spacers are ilegal and dangrous.

series 1 manifold will not fit on a series 2 engine, the different ports sizes and positions and the water galleries are different. i dont know about series 2 vp to vr swap.

do u have any pics and info on the 6
