So it's a V6 with a Getrag 5 speed? If so, change the gearbox oil and see how that goes. Billet Product shifters are a good bit of kit for the Getrag as well. I've had mine in for over 50,000km now :)

Nice set up mate. Is the plenum polished or ceramic coated? Either way it look good :) How long do you expect the Getrag to last?

I'm using Topgun Leads,For spark plugs I'm using what Raptor sent with the Kit so get onto Tim,Penrite Hpr 10 engine oil and Ryco filters.I've been changing the oil and filter every 5-6000km.The Raptor has been on for 22,000km now and not a problem.

With a Raptor and a few other bolt on bits.I return 10-12lt/100km in a VY manual ute.

Sound like you have no valve clearance and the valves arn't closing.A shorter push rod set might be needed like jesterarts said.I fitted YT 1.9's to mine and they came with new pushrods.I didn't compare the lengths though sorry,but I'm guessing they were shorter.

The fly wheel can be done at any Good Engineering shops.As for the pressure plate,just give it a de-glase with some 180 grit wet & dry sandpaper.

Bring'm down to the drags tomorrow night and find out.Would be a close 1 for sure.

I copied this from somewhere else.It's for a vy but I think they are the same.Just check it with a test light 1st. On the end of the aerpro adapter that plugs into the car, the red and yellow wires need to be swapped.

Do a bit of a search around,I've heard of this before.There is 2 wires on the adapter that have to be swaped.

Looks like power steering fluid.I wouldn't be driving it like that.

Like Leigh said does look a bit red,have you checked the power steer fluid?

Give it a degrease around the wet area or a wipe down,than start the engine and have a look.Might be the oil pressure switch or the oil filter.

I think it was the SS came out with them std.You can get 1 from Holden for under $60.The studs are there ready to use :)

I got mine from Hsp.Had it frieghted up to Nth Qld,had a few small scratches on it when it got here which doesn't bother me.Other then that 1 year latter I'm very happy with there product. +1 I'm not a fan of rear wings on utes.

Get onto GSL Rally Sport (sponser of this forum),they was a thread the other day on this same subject for vy v6 clutch(same as vu),they do Exedy single mass kits.I need to replace mine and I've only done 48,000km but there a few extra GG's under the foot :D

Non of the above! Maybe a hotrod or something with a 6/71 hanging out the bonnet would do it for me. Edit- the Vette will do it

I've had 1.9's in my vy for 20,000km,so far all good.Still has factory valve springs and sees 6,000rpm often.
