Driving a black car for 8 months without air con, after swapping $1500 worth of diff for someone to fit the air con back on your car tends to make me a little bit upset...

Did your tune cost $2500 and take a month? Speaking of taking heaps of time, some #### better come and put my air con in soon or I'll be up ripping out a harrop diff out of a commodore. And I'm serious.

    E-85 cold start problem

Worst thing you can assume is that I'm on your side - you have absolutely no idea what you're on about. Even playing with a stock standard VE SS tune with my laptop and wideband I managed to make it a lot more responsive and use less fuel and still run in the parameters of safety. E85 will gain...

    E-85 cold start problem

You may need to upgrade the injectors to a larger size to compensate for the extra fuel, maybe even the fuel pump. Plug computer in, change commanded afr from 14.8 to 9.7, adjust VE tables, adjust timing to take advantage of e85, Job done. If you were really tricky you could wire in a flex...

    E-85 cold start problem

Ethanol fuel burns cooler, cleaner and longer compared to normal petrol - if your car isn't driven very regularly it can leave deposits in your injectors (happens to me a lot), which will require a proper clean from a shop, but that's not what your problem is. If you don't know what you're...

Found a cheap gearbox down in sydney I'm trying to buy which will get it at least going again - to build a good gearbox is going to cost me about 4k in parts alone... looks like it'll be running 20psi for a fair while!

Gearbox was already built, it's being fixed under warranty so I don't really have a say on what's happening with it, it probably won't be doing any more track work till I get the transfer sorted which will probably be in a few weeks - having a few issues with a house I own which take priority...

Low Profile Radiators Fans for VZ V6 ?

You could chuck a set of Craig Davies fans on but they'll be no where as effective without the factory shroud, not to mention the factory fans have multiple speed settings which you'll lose, plus you'll chuck up a check engine code.
