I think it's the shifter bushing as opposed to the boot.

G'day all. I've been doing some research into resetting my PCM and there seems to be conflicting info regarding this. Some sources are you must have the ignition OFF before removing the fuse, other sources say it needs to be ON. Can a anyone clarify this? Cheers.

G'day all, I have a VU SS with tri-y headers and a twin 2 1/2 inch catback exhaust system. It does not have a new intake or an aftermarket tune. Would this potentially cause any low-rpm power or timing issues? I have had several occasions where it seems to ping under load in high gears...

Great first car mate! If you have any mates that are mechanics or good with cars see if they can help. As said you'll need lowered springs when going that low, plus most likely you'll need a camber kit other you'll be chewing through tyres and 20s aren't cheap! Obviously it's your call, but...

Do you want to save money on fuel or just get a newer car? If you are getting 15L/100km now then just go a VY V8. If you want to go fast get the XR6T... but I doubt you'll find one for 10K.
