i closed the sun by putting 12 volts straight to the motor, so that sorts that for now, what usually makes fuse #1 get thrown

ok so brainwave, the mate i bought this car off, took the stereo out so there is no deck, and took the stereo fuse out so there were no live wires, when he put the shroud back in, maybe the arial cable it shorting on somthing....plausable?

Hey guys, i have found with my 04 VZ SS ute, that when i power through and out of a corner i get a lound vibrating rattle from the front of the car around the steering collum area, nothing looks sus when i have a peak, any ideas its only when i give it more than 1800 - 2000 rpm with a bit more...

sorry but im going to be that guy.... with all the $$ for SS parts and such, why not get the SS with a bigger donk to start, all that $$ and it will still get munched by a taxi and before i get flammed, i talk from experience, i spent 15k extra on my vy v6 and regret not getting an SS 8 to...

omg dude you run that setup with no tune, your brave, those lifters and the increase airflow setup will have her running plenty lean, id have maffless tune up the top of your to do list looks quite nice tho up your diff gear ratio tho bro, 3.9's or bust

um well craigs autos quoted 3800 for the box and 1100 for the stall fitted. i picked up the box for 1500 and the stally for 500, gotta keep your eyes on the forums, there are bargains out there, both items are new should be in next week. will be a weapon

powerchip = Dog mince custom tune all they way. all that cash for 12kw lol i had a maffless tune for $500 from OZTRACK and my ET went from 14.5 to 13.748 about an extra 40rwkw

if you do all that get a tune. all the induction mods and new cats are pretty useless without it. with trivial gains to say the least they wont truely kick in till its tuned

if it helps My Ls1 cruising/day to day 13/100km hitting the loud pedal heaps 14-16/100 Sv6's shut down cylinders when they dont need then etc. my cousins sits on 10/100 day to day and around 13/100 on the go gas

guards were done by a mate from sydney guard rolling. not sure on cost but most usually charge about 60 - 80 bucks a guard front and rear of mine are done when i bought the car it had SSL all round i run 8.5" tyres at the back and it seems fine ey running standard FE2 shocks, thats...

yeah its all sweet, i chucked 500kgs of stuff in yesterday. it was on the ground but no scrubbing. my guards are rolles :-) ill be installing polybags from Polyair Springs air bag suspension lift kits to give me 2" lift when i need it
