It's a genuine Holden 1200kg one, appears to have 6 places for bolts, 2 at either end an two in the middle. Sound right?

Ahhh interesting!! So the bolts are already in there hey! Are they just sitting in there or they holding something else up as well? Also does anyone know how many newtons they should be tightened too?? Cheers!

took it too a transmission specialist shop recommenced to me from a mates old man that is a mechanic.

dont get me wrong i gave it the occasional trip up to towards redline. But it in no way had a hard life in the 40 000km's ive put on it. And i don't know if its just second hand or second hand reco but the mechanic said he's ha a look at it and the box looks good and strong.

just got back from trans shop. looks like 3/4 clutch is completely ####ed. requires a new box :( Had the option of $1875 for new one installed or $850 for second hand so im going second hand. pretty shitty really considering i drive like a grandpa, have never skidded the car in my life and...

just get down there, grip the bottom and reefe the things off. done both of my map pockets so far.

When i had white walls on my wagon they looked ####en dope i thought! only pain is cleaning them. dishwashing detergent, jiff, warm water and a tooth brush will be your best friend. Make sure there is NO tyre shine on the tyres at all as the silica in this will turn them brown.

faaaaarrrkkk!!! looks like the only way to fix this is too replace the BCM which is not ####en cheap! grrrr

wheel alignment mate. Also he might have just been carrying a shitload of heavy stuff in the back = way more wear. Or if it's pretty low then yeah they chew through tyres pretty quickly (i know from experience hahaha)

i get Kumho's for $200 ea and they are excellent IMO. Grippy as **** and wear very well, very very little road noise!
