High car fans while a doing a little maintenance on the wife's VX namely the air filter and plus i noticed some electrical tap hanging under the Airflow Meter plug and after removing it I found this resistor/diode fitted to the plug. I hgave no idea as to why it is there. Can someone fill me in...

For over 20 years I've never worried about what the gauge says. Just fill with LPG and drive until it's empty then switch to petrol and get more LPG so much simpler :beer chug:

Starts fine first turn, Plugs changed, Not a cold start issue, misfire is more noticeable on LPG and less on Petrol, mileage is good still.

Check the Air con cut out switch, The BCM doesn't have any relays in it at all?

Seriously and you like paying big $$$ for Petrol?? I do understand it's your opinion, I think you've been misinformed about LPG cars running hotter - They don't, None of the factory gas ones i've owned ( 3 ) have. As for power loss the loss is minimal unless your towing max loads.

I've come across cars with no thermostats over the years, Hell even taken a few out myself to make a temporary overheating issue go away. If there's not one there, I'd ask why is it not is the a cooling system problem?

Same here but remember that without the belt on it's going to get hot with nothing driving the water pump.

Well boys that's the question Will my new front struts from my old VR fit into my VU ute? Background info: New struts and tops plus a few bushes were replaced in the VR But now the VR needs to go and the son won't get off his ass and use them on his VP. Advice is appreciated :-)

Sounds pretty much like you need a regas Rob The air Cond guys should evacuate the system and the pressure test before regassing if all good

The engine won't/stops cranking if the accelerator is depressed as well. Hope he's not putting his foot down while trying to start it. My VR and VU both do the same. (Both Factory Gas)

Thanks guys for the help, it doesn't seem to work at all on the interior or any of the other lights. I will look at the fuse panel as "Dirbatua" has suggested and see if it's been disconnected already.
