The IAC is the Idle Air Control Valve, located on the throttle body. I didn't notice mine running rich until I was standing in the driveway, house on one side, tall fence on the other. That's when i noticed a strong fuel smell.

As above, sounds like the intake manifold. I Recently changed the gasket on my VY for the same problem.

Have you had the oxygen sensor checked? Mine were registering a lean condition but didn't throw a code. I could also smell that it was running rich.
