    VP Fan and check engine light stay on 1 min after startup

    Just manged to get the ECM fault codes and it shows fault code 15. This says high voltage yet I don't measure a high voltage . Less than 2 v. The yellow wire seems like it goes to earth as it has a good earth resistance, Is this normal?

    Thanks for the reply. Just discovered that the check engine light comes on as the fans kicks in. 50 secs after starting. The same sensors from the old engine are now in the new motor and worked fine. We used the alternator from the VR which has wiring at the top and required to pull extra wiring...

    Whats the gauge doing?? There is a thread to check the solder joints and I also found an issue with the sender at the tank had badly corroded connections . Checked these two and works fine
