he didn't lock it and yes tail gate locked to. I got into it in about 30seconds once I had the drill and 6 mm bit handy. To open a vt door lock just drill it with a 6mm bit and it pops like you used a key.

that my not be right. on older models fe2 and country pack springs have a shorter fully extended height then standard springs. both use the same shock which is shorter then standard. I think I will do a little research. I have stupid low springs to swap to so want to know.

immobiliser locked it but wont unlock. battery has decent voltage but unlock switch looks not so good.

door barrels are different to ignition. nearest locksmith 100+km away. mate why pay someone i got time. Expecting to have to drill out barrel.

check fuel pump fuse contacts. silver bottle up behind the strut towers is ac mate. gas valve will have heater hoses going to it to stop it icing up and freezing shut or open so if it was the gas valve you have seroius problems.

yeah mate check the balancer. if you can rock er outer ring with little effort then it is cactus. VERY common fault and bangs like hell.

mate jam a ecotec in then. nearly stock parts and newer.

what makes you think they don't? if it is pulling then take it back again and again till you are happy. most places do the basic adjustment to save time and only do it properly if it comes back a few time.

genuine springs are available and dirt cheap. i would sugest going to holden and getting new. for $55 each it is well worth it.

i mounted a set of 3 infront of the pass front wheel. compressor tucked behind air tank longest bolted under airbox and tucked in tight to air tank and other 2 on the brace piece that goes down near there. just lengthened normal horn wiring and she goes good. LOTS of people jump.

yeah buy it and thrash it a bit then flog it off to some ford driver for twice what you paid for it.

qld rules state that it must be enclosed in a box. you could make a pretty clear box and fit the pod inside and aslong as it was secure you are ok in qld. now if you have to start drilling holes to fit the box then that is another matter again.

genuine front fe2 are available and cost me $55 each. Hard to beat that price and they are properly made to suit the car.

mate when hot try wetting just the start and see if if fires easier then. if so then start is th fault. Fords had this problem big time and it was nearly always the starter.
