    why not mount the amp directly on the seat? just use a big threaded wood screw (big gaps) and dont screw it too hard using the drill if you want to hide it.. what about on the parcel shelf? get on your back and screw it to the bottom of your parcel shelf. and if you do build an amp board...

    unplug all the rca's and turn the car to acc. does it still beep? try running a... rca - 3.5mm jack lead and run some music off an ipod/similar does it still make the noise? if it does than its the amp for sure. and just bring it back to the shop and get a new one since its new products.

    could be a number of problems.. cheap RCA's would cause the buzzing the one that goes with the revs.. clipping could be because there isnt enough power or there is a short somewhere. sound clipping could also be because the earth has come loose/corroded.

    ive noticed that you do not need to remove the whole glovebox setup to get to the headunit out.. i find that removing half of them is enough. just do the right side enough to get to.. (far left screw) is all you need to remove to get to the headunit. but awesome writeup.
