Yeah i was surprised myself when i found the 202 with so little KM's :) I took it for a drive the other day and it goes much better than the starfire :yeah:

My Starfire-4 Manual VC Royal Commodore has now been fully converted to a 6 cyl 202 Auto :) The Diff, front strut towers, K-Frame, engine, gearbox, tailshaft, extractors and exhaust have all been replaced and the new engine only has done 85,000KM :) We even got rid of the old engine fan...

Hey all.. Ive almost finished a full 202 engine, diff, struts, disks, exhaust conversion on my starfire 4 vc. Yay :) But im having alittle trouble with the new dash i got 4 the engines kms... All the gauges work exept for the speedo... It kinda works but it just goes from 0 to 160...

lol yeh mine is the same.. i need to fill the oil every week, the motor sounds like a diesal truck or a lawn mower.. lol and the carby keeps getting clogged up.. we start tomorrow on the new 202 conversion... the starfire still runs.. but has lived out it's days i think :P and if i were u id go...

hey :) nah i bought it off a mate for real cheap. I don't know much about the history only that a mate thrashed it before i saved it lol and another mate had it before him for a first car he learnt to drive in... I was gona put the reconditioned starfire in it but they are just a big hassle...

The cars in pretty good condition except for the engine. Some guy thrashed it before i got to it so the engine is really bad. I have to fill up the oil every week and i spend alot on fuel lol. I've got the engine, gearbox etc to pop into it. I had the choice to put a reconditioned starfire...

i have a 4cyl royal edition vc :) it's a manual and i can't wait till i get my new 202 into it lol. Tha 4 cyl is so slow...
