I find it hard to believe that three different mechanics can't find what's wrong with it? It shouldn't take them longer than an hour to diagnose it anyways, probably a cheaper option that getting a reco engine, even at their $100 an hour rate.

I don't know where you live, but I live in Sydney and take my VY II SS to Willem at Winmalee Car Care. The ONLY place to work on my car, from servicing, to aftermarket tuning etc. Awesome prices, and great work.

Mate, for your safety and everyone elses, if your asking how to do it with suspension and brakes, just pay someone the $40 to do it, aty least you know it's then done right and you won't kill someone by doing it wrong. Watch the person you pay, take note so you can do it yourself next time.....

The gauges look good. I hate the SS inductions holder, mine melted on a hot summers day last year and they wouldn't replace it...shonks dodgy crap. Take the carpet off the dash. Carpet is used on floor, not on the dash. Tacky.

I think I paid $450 for Lovell's fitted all round from Parramatta Brake and Pro.

It takes literally 3 minutes tops !!

One of the best systems that you can get are Autowatch alarms. They are awesome, and I highly reccomend them. Steer away from some of the cheap ones that Sthratfield etc sell, such as mongoose etc.

IMO don't get King, every car I have had them in it is such a harsh hard ride. Get Lovells, ride heaps nicer on them, than any King spring commodore I have been in.

Yeah, but at $200 max for the HSV ones V $800ish from the Pacies, 4rwkw you dont even feel.

They will put you within a few KW's of each other, with the same mods. My mate went from Reworked HSV's to Pacemakers, and gained only 4 extra rwkw with tune with the Pacemakers. Not worth the extra money imo.
