I have the same thing on my SSV...it means you don't have the genuine Blaupunkt navigation module....and it isn't worth the cost...much cheaper to get the portable ones and they come with free lifetime map updates...however I'm sure you could still get the genuine article but from what iv heard...

Definitely clockspring...I've had the same thing happen to mine (Just from driving not being in an accident)...it sounds like you didn't replace the clockspring with the airbag so id be very surprised if the airbag being deployed didn't damage the ribbon cable or connectors in the original...

What style are you referring to?..."SS" taillights are just the same as the red ones on an omega/SV6..."SSV" taillights are the greyish clear style with the red brake light in the middle...and most of the aftermarket ones I've seen are garbage and make the car look like garbage with the LEDs...

Stereo installs just aren't that hard...did they just swap the speakers in the doors?...........as for the stereo cutting out thats dodge as either a very bad install or faulty amp

also.....disconnect the battery and let it reset and connect it again (worth a try) hopefully nothing bad like the body control module **** itself

have you actually checked the battery just because it's newish doesn't mean it hasn't died...its obviosly power related as in it's not just the immobilizer etc...a hot day shouldn't have those problems something else has happened
