cheap aftermarket ones have a plastic lens, genuine is glass

if you brought aftermarket ones theyre a real pain to adjust up and down, sideways the screw is at the top.

yeah they look good, be careful of the ebay ones, as small cracks appear after being in the sun after a couple of months because their plastic, i know from experience.

yeah the diff is different ratio, i know towing my boat compared to a mates vu ss both 6 speed mine has a lot less trouble pulling the boat out of the river. i have a vx hsv intake if you want it, it takes the cool air from behind and around the passenger headlight.

hi guys, i have sent away my ABS module to get a reco'd one from ebay, and i knew this would happen... i need the car on sunday to tow my boat up the river! anyway can i drive it without an abs module?

did any lights come up on the dash? like abs, trac off,engine light? i had the same thing happen to my clubsport every time i would get above 4k rpm. it stopped after i got a mafless tune but now i have read that a faulty abs module may cause the engine to cut out intermittently.

dont you have to have the motor out to change the cam bearings?

"could" be the abs module, talked to my brother in law today and he said its hard to determine what would be causing it because the abs module doesnt throw fault codes, and the only way of knowing if the module is stuffed is if theres no signal when the tech 2 is hooked up. but most of the time...

did mine not long ago. you will need a drill to drill out the rivets on the mechanism (4 i think) replace them with bolts its easier, and insert 2 washers on the bottom 2 bolts so when your window is all the way down you dont get that rattling.

wow dude, you must be at your wits end with this problem! i had a similar problem with engine stalling in my vx gen 3 only when i was in high rev's, but it only happened a couple of times and now hasnt happened since i got a mafless tune. never knew what the problem was.....

i brought one of those metal ones from ebay, they are too thin in my opinion and dont fit flush. i ended up spending $40 and used a piece of aluminium cheq plate with two 52mm holes.

ok all is good now, went back and he hooked up a laptop and we went for a cruise on a quiet road, stop/start, stop/start until i was happy with how it was taking off,now it drives like a stocker! very happy!

pull the cluster out and replace the globe, from memory its a T5 globe.
