    Towbar Specifications Sticker

Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement for the Towbar Specifications sticker that appears on the driver's side door frame of my wagon? I would dearly like to replace mine.

    What is this called?

This plastic clip that holds some of the V6 engine harness has broken. Before I wander into Holden's and ask for a black plastic harness thingy and make a fool of myself, perhaps one of the forums members know its name?

    VZ Binnacle Oil Pressure Query

Just a quick query - the genuine VZ binnacle has a volt meter that measures volts (obviously) but what is oil pressure measured in? Is it bar?

    What is this badge from?

I bought some car badges at a garage sale over the weekend and this one has me baffled. What is it from? Or is it an aftermarket badge? Thanks.

    VZ interior Lights

Depress the sunglasses receptacle. When it swings down you will see two screws that holds it to the roof. Remove screws. The light can now be removed. Unclip the the electrical connector and you are done.

    need code for stereo

Are you for real? I didn't expect it to be free so stop assuming that I did. He punched my VIN into the computer. Gave me the code. It took ten seconds - not 15 minutes. Because of that one small gesture I have bought several parts from that particular dealership.

Wireless reverse camera issues - possibly wiring?

Not an answer however I would suggest that you just cut your losses. Wireless reversing cameras are useless. Get a wired one and you shouldn't have any problems for a while.

I went into the dealership only a couple of months ago to get mine. Cost was $0. $30 is insane.

    New Windscreen Query

Cheers uniacidz. Obrien's is going to be my first port of call next week. I used them when I owned a VL many, many years ago.

    New Windscreen Query

I'm just a bit OCD. I like how the acrylic dots obscure the sun when low to the horizon when at certain angles. I'm less inclined to have the windscreen replaced if the replacement doesn't have them. My insurance policy covers one free windscreen per year.

    New Windscreen Query

Long story short I have a very irritating chip in my windscreen. It is dead center in line with my field of vision when driving. If I have the windscreen replaced will the new glass have the sun blocking part (consisting of many black dots) around the rear vision mirror and between the two sun...

    Cruise control: Not working! help!!

Just one. I suggest one of the taillights. The high-level brake light is a bugger to open (in a wagon anyway). If it doesn't work you have only wasted a few minutes of your time.

Interior Light fuse - How to ?

Common fault/bad design. I've just replaced mine. Only one clip and one hinge was holding it on.

    Cruise control: Not working! help!!

Just to say you have tried it, replace one of your brakes lights with a traditional globe. I know you said that you had it converted - maybe just do it to say that you have tried it.

MY06 VZ Calais - Odd finds

Check your VIN. The series of letters that make up the sequence does actually mean something. Look in the owner's manual for what means what.

    Power Windows

It probably came with the standard Executive standard of power front windows and manual back ones. Previous owner has probably replaced the door trims at some stage. Take one of the rear trims off to confirm.

    VT commodore stock headunit issues

I suggest that you double check your wiring because something obviously isn't correct. Search further back on the loom to see if you can locate your missing wires. Accesories - Yellow Constant - Orange/White Illumination - Brown/White Earth - Black/White 12V OUTPUT - Yellow/Red Radio Mute -...

    Mode switch replacement

It is just like the headlight switch - get two flat bladed screwdrivers (not too big) and carefully lever the switch out at the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions. Don't be in a rush to remove it - easy does it. You will see the clips start to emerge. Use one of the screwdrivers to fold back the...

car wont start all i get is a click then loose all power in the car
