I put in some lifer cleaner into the car and now most of the ticking has stoped.... also the engine has a miss fire could that be affecting the tacho?

I inspected all the hoses and there are no leaks. i cleaned the AFM connections and made sure they are making good contact. I checked in dizzy cap and there was no white crap anywhere. As for plugs n leads could maybe need new sparkys but leads r new and mechanic put em on around 6 months ago...

I have manual vl and I need to replace starter motor and was wondering what the difference is between auto/man starter motors. Also would i be able to use a starter motor from a vb, vk or vn with out doin any convertions? Are they the same sort of starter motors???? Any help will be great Thanks
