which do you prefer for gaming and why

I prefer to play games on PC. I feel although PC gaming offers a more immersive experience over console gaming.

    asus eee pc.

I have a 1000HE and am fairly pleased with it. It, to my surprise, runs Windows 7 (Ultimate, 32 bit) quite well. I picked up a 500gb hard drive and through that in it, as well. I bought the unit with the intention to take it overseas with me. Unfortunately, given it's strangely small size...

    Pulling to the left.. why?

Hey guys, I haven't driven my car in a couple of weeks (overseas at the moment), but I did notice that prior to my departure, my car was in fact starting to pull to the left - just slightly. I think I may go and get an alignment report to see if the alignment has gone out - will post results...

Strange issue - sub cuts out in warm weather only when going over bumps?

Hi guys, I've got a bit of a strange problem here. I've got a Soundstream 12" sub and 500W amp (sorry, don't know model names off the top of my head, I can retrieve them if need be). When going over bumps, the sub will cut out - when I hit another bump, the sub will resume normal operation...

    Pulling to the left.. why?

For those who are interested, here is the new wheel alignment sheet. This is the best result I've had thus far. http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/9162/wheelalignmentreportnew.jpg

I went to the Blacktown shop. Seems like shaggerz has had a similar experience there. : )

    Pulling to the left.. why?

Hehe. I had quite a pleasurable experience at Pedders. I had sent them an email (basically copied my originally post), got a call the next day from a well mannered woman, organised a booking for the next morning, went in, had a chat to one of the guys there, he seemed as determined as I was to...

    Pulling to the left.. why?

Just a bit of an update. I took my car to Pedders on Friday. They went ahead and replaced the control arm bushing, as well as giving it a new alignment (which mainly consisted of caster adjustments). There is still a very slight pull to the left (only noticeable if I am to take my hands off the...

    Pulling to the left.. why?

Hi Harry, As per the posts above, I think (in my case, at least), my issue may be attributed to a structural defect which occurred during the front ender that my car had prior to me purchasing it. It has gotten progressively worse over time. This may be something worth checking out on your end...

Thanks for the info mate - most appreciated. Do you mind if I scan this print out tomorrow, and send it your way for your expert analysis? : )

    Pulling to the left.. why?

Hehe. I tried that prior to submitting my previous post. Unfortunately, the print out was done on some old school forms printer, and as such, the ink is rather faded - it's not even readable, even on a high resolution shot. : (

    Pulling to the left.. why?

I do have a wheel alignment print out - several, in fact. I don't have access to a scanner at the moment, so I will take the latest print out into work tomorrow and scan it there. I'll post it up as soon as I can. Say something other than cosmetic damage had occurred during the front ender...

    Pulling to the left.. why?

Thanks for the replies guys. I'm not familiar with RACV? Who are they? : \ Two places were at a complete loss, one place told me that a 4 point camber kit may be worth while. Not sure why, though - I thought the VY II S came with the ability for a camber adjustment? I've really struggled to get...

    Pulling to the left.. why?

I can't guarantee that, no - given the fact that I know it was involved in a relatively low speed front ender - cosmetic damage to the left (coincidence?) headlight and 1/4 panel. The car was purchased from someone I know, and I had seen the damage that was done to the car - not enough to...

    Pulling to the left.. why?

Hi guys, This problem started occuring a few months after I had purchased my car. It's an on going issue, and I would like to have it solved, but no one can seem to do anything about it. Which, of course, is quite unfortunate, and is making me more upset as the days go by. Basically...

    Live for Speed

Any Live for Speed players out there in the LAN Lounge? I've had hours upon hours of endless fun in this game (some may be offended by me referring it to as a game, in which case let me formerly recognise it as a 'simulation'). It's perhaps the most realistic computerised interpretation of a...

    sims 3

The Sims series of games make me ever so depressed. I somehow manage to get caught up in the tedious work, eat, sleep, repeat cycle - an alternation which seems to match my life exactly. I play games to escape reality, not to replicate my life onto them. ;)

Just a bit more information; the ticking is almost non existent when the engine is cold - the noise only becomes audible when the engine is hot.

    Fuel gauge wrong?

Here is a thread I posted awhile back about the issue: http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/vy-holden-commodore-2002-2004/92159-problems-fuel-gauge.html There are many others - trust me. : )

    Fuel gauge wrong?

Hi, I had this same issue in my VY II S. Funnily enough, the issue disappeared with the next tank. If you do a search on here, you'll find that many people have the same/similar issue. Although, unfortunately, a lot of those who reported similar symptoms had to end up getting their fuel sender...

Ticking noise - slowly losing my grip on sanity. : )

Hi guys, I have this rather horrendously annoying ticking noise coming from my engine bay (04 VY II S S/C), and I'm stumped as to what is causing it. I tried to record the noise on my phone to give you guys a vague idea of what I'm talking about...

    Seagate or Western Digital

Seagate, for usre. Basing this purely on personal experience. I've had nothing but trouble with Western Digital drives. They're loud, slow and just overall pieces of crap. : ) That being said, though, my external Western Digital 'passport' drive works a treat - hasn't missed a beat!

Lowered suspension on VY - Camber castor kit reqd?

Thank you for your helpful and valuable information once agian, chargedvx6. I've been quoted $300 to have my castor bushes replaced (which is inclusive of parts, labour and a wheel alignment). Does this sound about right? Thanks. : )

Lowered suspension on VY - Camber castor kit reqd?

Thanks for the info chargedvx6, most appreciated. I don't suppose that the RADIAL rod bushes and RADIUS rod bushes are one in the same? Lowered suspension on VY - Camber castor kit reqd?

Hey guys, Still got quite a few steering issues here. :( I simply cannot drive in a straight line. My car constantly pulls to the left, and is just impossible to handle. It's getting quite dangerous, I think. I took it to a local shop, they went for a bit of a drive and determined that my...

Lowered suspension on VY - Camber castor kit reqd?

I know this thread is relatively old, but I thought I'd ask the question here to save on starting a new thread. : ) Would a negative rear camber (-1.50 / -2.08) bring on handling problems? Just trying to work towards the root of my handling issues. I've lowered my VY 2" in the rear and I'm...
