I just had the check engine light Coe on in mine yesterday, thankfully had an obdii reader, it was just o2 sensor error. I can reset it with the software I have, so did that then reran the diag mode, and there they were, errors gone and not returned since, and did a fair amount of driving today.

Hit eBay for a key blank and most key cutters can cut the key for you, but you'll have to book it in with Holden to get it coded to your car, and you'll need both keys when you go to Holden as they reset the coding with a new key, so need to program both of them.

Can anyone tell me is he towbar of a VE sedan the same fitment to a ve ute? Just removed my towbar (sedan) and have a mate with a ute that wants to buy it if it fits on his ute. Thanks.

Cost me $155 at my local Holden dealer to get the keys coded to the car. You'll need both recoded at the same time or they won't work, (new codes to the keys when coding them) And $20 at the locksmith to get it cut.

20x10.5's here. 48 offset. Told them to roll the guards, they didn't. Back the next day for a new rim and tyre as it was scratched to hell. Running ssl all round. But the choice is yours, never had the guard hit when hitting a bump. Used to have that issue all the time in my old vn running 235's...

Don't have to roll the guards on a VE unless you go bigger then 245 tyre. I'm running 275 on the back of mine and had to get the guards rolled.

Col3sy that iPad facia that you talk about, is that just a standard one you are going to modify, or did I miss something where someone is making them?

I know here in Qld I swapped personalized plates off my car, when bought it. Rta just handed over plates across the counter, gave me a slip stating the change was legal and posted out the new rego label to me. There was a small fee, but can't remember how much, but was nothing really ~$50 or so.

Running Falken FK452 myself, staggered 20's just over 10k kms on them now and can't fault them at all. Handle great even in the wet, not noisy at all. Best choice I made personally.

I just got mine replaced last week. It's a known issue and they have a new mounting system for it. Just call the service department and tell them, just should book it in as a warranty repair. Less then 40 mins later it was done for me. (waited for the car).

Be warned they may hit you up for new caster tops and bump stops while they are fitting the new ones, might be worth checking first, I think the caster tops are ~200+

If you read the manual, (I have a MY9.5 sv6) it states that it doesn't play mp3's that's only in the berlina's and up models. Omega and the sv6 missed out. Bit sucky of holden, but guess they got the units cheap without mp3 support.

Anyone else experienced this? I live in cairns and my local Holden dealer said they will not sell me the gxp diffuser unless I have a g8 vin code. Apparently their supplier won't sell them any without it.

So westy when are you going to release a price for the facia itself? I really want one, or pm me a price plz! I have the iPad and LCD, just need your custom facia and dock connector.

So I've got the OBD II reader and the Dashcommand software for my SV6 SIDI, but just inputing the setting for the vehicle, but I just can't find a number of them in the manual or with extensive google searchs. Would anyone happen to know them? Or where I would find out where/what they are...

I'm just after the facia, surround and cables, already havevthe iPad and the hvac LCD. But definitely interested in this!!

Steve, quick question for you about the manifold spacer. I know you say that they suit the 3.6ltr SIDI, but does the cover still fit over the engine fine with the spacers? or do you have to do away with the cover? I know its an odd question, but I like keeping things neat and clean. Thanks.

Does anyone know how to remove the front guard flasher unit on a SV6? I have a dead globe there and want to replace it with an LED bulb, but I'm not sure how to remove the flasher, and I can't find anything on the site about it. Thanks for your time.
