got same problem. car sounded like a deisel in d at lights. hand brake on tight or person in car. run it and then press hard where the tensioner pully arm connects to the engine. mine stopped making the noise. becareful of the moving belt !!!

tensioner arm is stuffed. press where it connects to engine noise stops. replaced the belt and the pully. see new thread. tensioner pully problem.

The felt rubbers do the same thing. my vt s2 wagon gets on my goat for all the noise the doors and windows make.

bloody squeaks. my vt s2 wagon is a squeak box around the windows and the rubbers. The wagons flex a bit and on a rough country road the stereo is the only option. doesnt the graphite spray go everywhere and look like the car was attacked by a lead pencil ?

you dont need to hold it down for long. spent 3 days trying to reset it on my car. Said F%^K IT and hit the up and down for only a split second and the bloody thing changed. Dont hold it down at all just press them.
