thanks for the comments guys. Ever since these were brand new and I was 10, i've wanted one. Yeah the original motor had piston slap, so it was taken back to Suttons under warranty, and it was rebuilt by HSV engineers. Have to log book and service notes to prove it. pretty reassuring...

yeah they aren't 360' globes. there are about 15 LEDS on the globe facing straight out. the light should catch on the plastic cover and spread a bit dont you think?

Hey guys, was wondering through Jaycar today picking up some LED parkers and an LED interior light and saw some LED brake light globes. Anyone done this to their VT/VX?? I think it could look good but at 24.95 a bulb!!! i want to make sure!! Thanks

Just did this to mine and the globes in the series 1 are clear. went up to bursons because you need orange globes with the straight pins (using the series 1 loom) and they were $1.50 for 2. easiest and best looking mod (along with clear side indicators) you can do to a VT. good luck

Did a 14.96 with a slipping clutch in the VT GTS. Clutch and flywheel is getting done on wednesday and a dyno tune soon. will be back out chasing a low 14. My mate in his bog standard VS Clubsport, Auto, ran a 15.0 which we were both impressed with.

Have the factory taillights so not LED's. what should i be checking?? I have noticed at night that the brake lights only come on when the pedal travels an inch or so.

Hey guys, The cruise control in my VT drops in and out. I have replaced the indicator stalk, although it was doing this with the old stalk too. Will sometimes turn on and sometimes not. also drops out when cruise is engaged. Any ideas??

Would it help if i told you my clutch pick-up point was right at the top of the pedal travel? so i hardly have to press the clutch for it to engage Maybe the clutch isn't engaging properly? funny thing is it isn't all the time.

its only when changing gear or when rolling in gear with the clutch in. idling is fine in and out of gear with clutch in and out. should be "better" that it is not when in gear and driving doesnt it?
