Yea possibly. Sorry ring gear, I'm confusing myself with this whole diff gearbox issues over the last 2 weeks. I spoke to a transmission shop today, they say 95% chance it's clutch related. 90% chance bleeding the system will fix the problem.

Cost involved in Machining out VE Rims to suit Pre VE

yes exactly, infact most larger rims have a bore size to suit pre ve and tyre shops will fit a spacer ring to the hub when fitting these wheels to a ve, in my opinion the spacer rings are a wank too, the pressure is on the flat surface on the front of the hub, with the wheel nuts torqued up...

Cost involved in Machining out VE Rims to suit Pre VE

it is just a approx 4mm wide lip around the inner of the wheel where the hub sits that needs to be ground / filed back flush with the rest of the hub, easy job, it can also be done using a file but this involves allot more work but still only about 20 min per wheel

Cost involved in Machining out VE Rims to suit Pre VE

i do it to all my ve rims i get and all my mates ones using my dremel, all genuine holden rims, little bit of lubricant and about 30 sec per wheel, better than paying $20 upwards per rim to get it done

    Keeny's Bagged Vz Calais

pinching a bag i must say id have to dissagree, as i said i only have standard rear shocks so they limit the drop, the bags have about another 20-30mm free play before either end plate is hard up against one another.

    Keeny's Bagged Vz Calais

if you do the bag kit properly, bolt in bags not drop in it will be as low. my limiting factor is my factory shocks, with bags deflated completely the shocks are fully compressed and stop the car from dropping any further, i could go shortened shocks and get another 20-30mm drop but at the...

    vz alloytec accelerating problems

you can definantly remove both back ones and i think the middle drivers side plug by just removing the engine covers. the coils are held in with one bolt each about 10mm head then with a little bit of force they pop out. its easier if you can remove the input plug first. i had a faulty coil and...

    drivers side wont lock anymore:S

if the lock does pop up but not all the way it may just need some wd 40 on the actuator and mechanism, Have heard it it quite common that they get dirt build up and become sticky, however if the lock doenst pop up at all than that sounds like the actuator itself.
