there is a main power wire in the engine bay that go's to the battery with a big black plug.
the plug is realy crap.
pull the plug apart and clean it or replace the plug.
i reckon that when you rev the engine the motor is torquing to one side and just moving the plug enough to get contact...
go and try and find another one in the same condition, just try.

depends if what diff you got or if its tubed.
normal diff i would say 8inch rim with around 235 tyre
with a 10 bolt diff you can fit a 255 tyre easy and you can get 265/275 tyre to fit so around 9/10 inch rim

i just re read ari666 post above, just remember if you get some headers for 308 heads they will not fit the vn style 304 heads as they are different.
(personally i would wait until i had vn style heads, but that's me )
