Go and drive it Banjo and see what it looks and sounds like. If it is covered under the 7yr warranty you should be covered against any issues that do come up as it applies from the day you buy it, not when it is built. :)

I wouldn't want to buy a brand new car that has been idling for 15mins on a daily basis. (Especially one that is now over 12 months old!) The engine oil would never have reached operating temperature and the rings would have been scraping the bores with no load on them to bed them in properly.

'Torque' has Transmission Temp. I have a high stall converter and use it every day to see what the transmission is doing in day to day driving. You need to enable the GM PID's and once that is done transmission temp is there. :)

Thanks for your opinion, if I wanted to compete with a Turbo Barra I'd build an engine to do so. This is a daily driver and a bit of fun. A turbo barra would have no chance over my 7sec GXP but they're not competing against me in Super Stock so the comparison, like yours is useless.
