does anyone know what the symtoms are of a faulty PVC? I run a turbo, so have disconnected the line between being the inlet manifold and t/b but have left it open, or should I run a new hose from that inlet manifold outlet to s new position?

If that hose is unplugged does that vacuum leak effect the engine? Or just the air con?

2. In regard to clearance issues with the twins, I have a custom made bonnet with more clearance, on the engine it was more a case of rearranging the engine to suit ie a/c and power steering.

I have spent a lot of time over 10 years playing with, modifying and developing these superchargers, I would say I have done more with them than anyone in Australia including tooling up and building a 2lt version, I have learnt to modify the housings and rotors, bearings, pulleys etc

Plus also I set the whole engine and exhaust etc up also did mods to the blowers etc my objective was to clear the 300rwhp mark

A lot of f&@@ing around lol, took a while to build and get right, tried a few combo's until we finally got it running nicely, way the boost worked out was different to when it was single

Here is a more current pic of the engine bay with the turbo, much cleaner, tho still has a bit more cleaning up to do lol

with the twin blowers, I was only running approx 8psi, made approx 360rwhp, and incredible torque. I could have put more boost into it but wasn't necessary. Yea engine bay was pretty full lol, but had room cause I run a custom bonnet. Mrs didn't like driving it with the twins lol (was a bit of a...

Full rebuild, pistons, heavy ported heads, cam for turbo, turbo, injectors stage 2 map, roller rockers etc Tho tune was done with cam, heads and turbo etc before rebuild, so only diff now is new pistons, rings etc Rebuild was cause of rings

Hi guys I have a VP v6, I have just rebuilt, now we started it yesterday, when we start it it it starts fine but hunts at idle. When you push on the accelerator it revs up but takes a second or two to come back down to base idle, I was thinking it may be the IAC? Any thoughts???

That's what mine looks like lol So not only affecting my power output but also causing it to smoke, just gotta see if I can do something else, maybe run a flexible hose to front of bar and put a bigger filter on it?

Due to space I only run a fat but narrow air filter and having some issues, mine is high mount drain straight to the sump

ended up being faulty wire from the boss kit, so was easier to9 just get another boss kit, and works all fine now. thanks for all help and input guys ;)

mmm, havnt tried that, will do i presume the earth is the pin that pushes in at the back when the boss kit is pushed on, yes it is touching this thanks again fellas

sorry yea, its an afer market wheel, i tried plugging the single wire into the button and putting a wire from the other side of the button to a ground but still no luck :( thanks again

hi guys I have changed my steering wheel and with a boss kit on a VP and there is only 1 wire from the boss kit for the horn and there ae connections on the button I have, is there supposed to be 2 wires in the boss kit? thanks

no worries found out the problem, the anti theft needed to be tuned off, starts without any issues now.
