just tested it. the revs go down when i attach the lead the chassis, so i guess it's a chassis earth. thanks for that mate!

Hi guys, i have a problem with my VS. Whenever i have the lights on it will idle at about 1500, and when i turn the lights off it will drop to around 900 like normal. It's really awkward to drive with the lights on when it's idling high like this. Anyone know what is causing this? Cheers.

Did the backfiring do any damage to the airbox? If it has a hole in it from the backfiring that will cause it to continue.

Not sure about cleaning them, but you can get cheap used (but working) ones from wreckers for the time being. That's what I did. : )

Only some P-platers are up there. People from every demographic are up there, it all depends on the person. Taxi drivers are some of the worst I've seen out there. Dunno what it is, but they just seem to speed, cut people off and just bend the rules whenever they feel like it.

Is the wire itself is actually broken or has the solder joint on the end just broken? Either I'd just take it a tech and get them to fix it, it shouldn't cost that much to replace the wire.
