Also, the moulding for a ute is different to a sedan as the wheel arch distance is different between the 2.

It's actually the column shift selector indicator that is getting in the way, not the sterring wheel.

Plus the fact you have to cut your spark leads INDIVIDUALLY. I could see all sorts of problems right there.

Not sure on the temp sensor, but the thermostat is about 20-30 dollars.

Me personally given the price of fuel, a little Astra.

But the OP is saying the digit 8 is being displayed fine.

5.5 L / 100km? That is a figure a little hyundai would be proud of. I think something is wrong there. Also if your fuel pump was not giving you enough fuel, I'm sure you would know about it going at 100 kmh. Good luck finding the cause!

I don't think I would know if I had noisy lifters if I did.

I had the sme problem when I replaced my VR sterring wheel with a VS one. No matter what I do, it's about half a spline either side of dead straight. I just got used to the fact.

Where do you buy the RED LED's? Do you have to modify the light in a ny way??

bloody hell. my steering column isnt adjustable, just spent an hour trying to get the dash out, with no success. have to stuff around with it some more.

Hako is correct, they are Bundy pipes. I had 1 of the lines replaced a couple of years ago and the invoice says "bundy" pipe.

My trusty old '93 VR Ute has very rusty rear brake pipes. Pretty much every brake pipe from the fuel filter back is rusted. And with it being a ute (load sensing brakes), there are alot of rusty pipes. Should I get them all replaced? Or am I just worrying about nothing? Thanks. :bang:

What dramas.... So I went to Holden to pick up the replacement glass it was all good. Took an hour to remove the broken glass... And the new glass didn't fit! It was like 4mm too "tall". For those without a ute, the side glass sits in a moulded plastic "bracket", so if the glass is too...

Hi guys, I was in the process of replacing my Inhibitor Switch, when the wires running into the ignition cylinder became grounded with the transmission column (its a column shift ute). A little spark, then all electrics went out. I've checked ALL the possible fuses. Now NOTHING works at...

Oxygen sensor perhaps?

Yep. I had a real bad fuel smell in my vr ute. i took off the fuel tank cover and replaced all the filler hoses. you can get the hose from repco. takes about 20 minutes all up.
