I have a gm ripshifter in my vz ss much better than the stock one. I would suggest it even though they are overpriced. Its a little bit weird at the start but once you get used to it you never miss third gear again. And the adjustable stoppers work good for smashing gears but not hurting the...
one is an aerial booster and the other two are demisters. I think from memory the Calais and up models have the aerial if they haven't been replaced before or just go to a good windscreen shop they should know what you are talking about
Is the car brand new or second hand? If its second hand id be willing to bet its had a windscreen in it before and the fitter hasn't put enough glue on the bottom to make the screen sit at the right height or he has taken the cowl panel off and broken it.
You have to pull the dash cluster out and solder the wires from the binnacle gauges to the ones that go to the plug for the dash cluster. Thats how i did mine and they fit alrite they could be better i thought.
One of my cats collapsed and blocked completely on my vz and the result was no rings left in the motor, so i would check that out for sure if i were you before you bolt it on.
hi would anyone be able to tell me if an engine with forged pistons and asociated parts should use a little bit of oil or should i take it back to the engine builder thanks
Sounds like the tps should put a code up but the only way to tell is by putting a new one in they are expensive try using a mates one first. Ebay ones arent very good either.
does it blow oil out the breather tube if it does got buggered rings or if it blows the dipstick out then its farked. Some thing major wrong. I got the same problem just different circumstances. Do a compression test to confirm it.
Oil pressure sensor for sure I reckon. If theres no other problems or abnormal noises Id try that first. When I changed mine just bought a 26mm socket I think it was and just ground the wall of it down till it was a fair bit thinner. It wasnt very tight so the socket didnt need to be strong or...
Finally got the fuel pump out of its case. Its a bit tricky. You have to hold like 4 flat blade screw drivers over these tabs and pull the crap out of it. Feels like its guna break but then it slides out. For anyone that was interested. Thanks
Alrite so long story short my fuel tank got filled up with crappy petrol and wont even idle proply now. I have pulled the fuel tank out, drained and flushed it out but the problem i have is i want to replace the fuel pump and filter in the tank with a walbro one. I cant seem to get it out of...
How did you get the plastic case off the sender unit to get to the fuel pump and the filter in the tank? Does any one know? I just want to replace the pump and filter in the tank but cant get it out of the sender unit. If any one knows what im on about. The sender unit is out but i cant...
Because they are so much better shifting than the stock one. I have the race version and it is a bit noisy but you get used to it. It is hard to explain you have to use one to find out for your self. Mine sits a bit higher than stock if any thing. The shifts are way firmer than the original though.
best bet would be to get one from the wreckers in good condition. least then you can see it in reall life. most ebay one are not as good as they say i reckon
The pin on the bonnet may also have a groove in it try grinding it out or getting a new one may help. Also when the bonnet is popped pull the lever and make sure the spring where the pin goes in cleares the hole completely
yep just show them u know wat ur on about. Focus on ur good points rather than bad. You dont need to be a whiz at english but dont sound like ur dumb either you know wat i mean. Be confident. My advice anyway. good luck
If the centre pillar is not pushed in do it ur self. Its not extremely hard just research how to take it apart ect. Get the right tools. Reckon you will need ratchet and sockets, screw driver, drill and drill bit to drill rivets out of the window regulators, pop rivets and rivet gun, anti theft...
