Would this explain why it sits lower on one side? Would it have been caused by running lowered springs with a factory panhard rod?

The threaded rod or pin that is fixed to the diff that the panhard rod bolts up to on my VS wagon is on a angle,pointing toward the drivers side of the car,is this normal or is it bent? Doesn’t seem right to me.The car has lowered springs ,probably 1 step down from standard.It sits about 30mm...

Well , I was quoted $1700 to replace the heater core by a radiator shop,insurance renewal reckons the car is valued at $2500.Figure that.Then again it’s going to cost a lot more to buy a new car.

Has anybody doing the cut pipe procedure used or attempted to use compression fittings to join the pipes?

So I just read a how to on how to replace the heater core by cutting the brass pipes under the dash.The question is, will the pipes that come through the firewall pull out so as I can flare the pipe where they have been cut?

Would anybody know whereabouts a leak is likely to stem from when the coolant is leaking down from the gearbox area.I’m tipping it’s the heater core.

To cut it short, when I’ve got my dash vent open on cold ,I’m still getting warm air at my foot vent.I take it someone else has more than likely had this issue,just wanted to know if there is a fix before I start pulling everything apart.

Any body know exactly what is needed to be done to remove window and replace Bailey Chanel?

Is there a thread on here ,anywhere,that details the removal of the drivers side window,I can’t seem to find one.

Have you done one before,I’d be up for any tips before I get into it too far.

Has anybody got any tips on how to get the chanel/guide/seal back into place that runs vertically up the back frame of the drivers side door ?mine has gradually slid down over time allows the window to rattle like hell and I,m not having much luck at getting it back into position without tearing it.
