    1981 vc sle 336 pack

Love the car mate, I have a VB SLE in the same exterior color but the Carmine interior and want to reinstate the factory look on the outside with SLE wheels, pinstriping and badging. The scoop will stay although i have the original bonet without scoop at dads place. What color did you powdercoat...

VH 2 Door Commodore - ADAYER SPORTIF

I remember seeing a photoshoped concept of a white VH two door with all the HDT fruit on it and that looked good too. Not that an original restoration is a bad thing but these cars don't really have a deep rooted history in Australia so to modify it wouldn't be diminishing its value too much in...

    Vc sle progress thread

Is that the same car!!!! Awesome job man and a fraction of the cost. I'd suggest you also paint the steering column surround but be REALLY careful when you put it back in to not over tighten the screws as most people do because you'll most likely break the mounting points. Or you could paint it...

    VH Dash Cluster Removal

Be really careful when pulling the black surround out as it has two tabs at the bottom which will scratch your lower dash if you don't see them. I have put some thin cardboard from a cereal packet there so it slides along it. From there it's pretty straight forward with about five screws holding...

    Vc sle progress thread

Mate if you struggle to find the correct lower dash in the right colour then purchase a vinyl paint and either paint what you have or get a lighter coloured lower dash and paint it. Much cheaper until you find the one you really need because they don't come along all that often. If you have a...

    Vb sle (not 310)

While the engine is away being machined for 355 stroker I've jumped into cleaning the engine bay up and scraping the underneath which will be repainted and re tared respectively. As much work as it's been it's been just as rewarding. The car is not going to be any show piece but there's nothing...

Guys, can anyone tell me if a VS wagon lower control arm is the same a VB - VL sedan? I need to replace my VL unit and have found a cheap set of VS wagon items. They look the same in the photos but we all know it only has to be out by millimetres to make things difficult.

picked up an abused vc sle 308

Good pick up there. Obviously the interior needs some attention which I'm sure is already on the cards. Externally I would lose the bonnet scoop and the rear spoiler and then replace the wheels with some nice original SLE wheels. I'm currently cleaning my VB SLE's underbody and engine bay in...

Vb Floor plugs Sorry about the double posting !! No luck at Clark Rubber but the guy at Scotts Old Auto Rubber seems to think if they dont carry them then they can get them made up. Ive send him a sample and am now waiting for him to get back to me. Rare Spares again are not too confidant...

    club rego

Mate you need to log onto the Vicroads website where you'll find a list of accredited clubs. Call a few of them and find out what their requirements are.
